Unlimited Support for All Women and The Future of the Industry

The building inspection and code enforcement industry is facing a critical workforce decline—your support directly fuels its revival and reinvention.

Here’s the reality: the industry is aging, shrinking, and struggling to attract new talent. But with your help, we can turn that tide—and bring women and LGBTQ+ professionals into a field that desperately needs fresh leadership.

📉 The Crisis in Code Enforcement

  • Employment of building inspectors is projected to decline by 71% from 2024 to 2034, with a loss of approximately 11,200 jobs.

  • Despite this decline, 14,800 openings are expected annually, driven by retirements and workforce exits—not growth.

  • A recent workforce gap analysis revealed significant barriers to entry, including lack of outreach, limited diversity, and insufficient hands-on training.

  • The industry is overwhelmingly male and aging, with many jurisdictions reporting difficulty recruiting younger, more diverse professionals.

🔧 Why This Matters

Building inspectors and code enforcement officers are the unsung heroes of public safety. They ensure that homes, schools, and businesses meet structural, fire and life safety, and energy efficiency codes. Without them, communities face increased risks—from unsafe buildings to environmental hazards.

But the current pipeline is broken. If we don’t act now, we risk losing institutional knowledge, weakening enforcement standards, and compromising public safety.

💥 The Opportunity

Our program doesn’t just fill a gap—it redefines the future, by training women and LGBTQ+ individuals in building inspections and code compliance,

  • Revitalize a fading industry with fresh talent and inclusive leadership.

  • Increase representation in a field that has long excluded marginalized voices.

  • Ensure safer communities through rigorous, equity-driven enforcement.

  • Create economic mobility for participants through high-paying, respected careers.

Our Mission Statement

We Certify Women to Lead—Regardless of Gender Identity. Because Equity Builds Stronger Cities.

We exist to break the mold—and the barriers that have kept women out of technical trades for far too long. Our mission is to create pathways to empower all women, including those who identify as women, by opening doors into the world of building inspections, code compliance, and safety enforcement.

These aren’t just jobs. They’re careers that shape communities, protect lives, and command respect. Yet for decades, they’ve remained out of reach for many women due to systemic bias, lack of access, and cultural gatekeeping. We’re here to change that.

Through rigorous certification programs, hands-on training, and mentorship, we equip women with the skills, credentials, and confidence to step into these roles and own them. Our graduates don’t just meet industry standards—they learn them and may eventually write them. They become inspectors, enforcers, leaders, and advocates for safer structures in our communities.

We believe that when women are empowered to build, inspect, and lead, entire communities benefit. Economic independence grows. Representation shifts. Futures brighten.

This mission is fueled by belief—and by action. Every donation, every grant, every partnership helps us expand access, deepen impact, and rewrite the narrative for women in technical trades. We’re not just preparing women for the workforce. We’re preparing them to transform.

Celebrating New Beginnings

We envision our first group of women excited as they all share that memorable moment as they proudly receive their certifications, wearing custom safety vests designed as gowns paired with graduation hard hat caps.
